SEN LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANTS

St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School in Merrow, Guildford, is looking for SEN Learning Support Assistants, starting in September 2022.
Hours: 8.30am – 3.10pm Monday to Friday, term time only.
Salary: XCET3 (£18,013 to £18,957) pro-rata £13,134 to £13,823 pa, depending on experience.

This will be a role linked to a child currently in EYFS/KS1. You will be working one to one with SEND children in EYFS and KS1, under the supervision of the class teacher and SENCO, supporting their learning across the curriculum.

The successful candidate will:

  • Enjoy working as part of a happy, hardworking team.
  • Be enthusiastic, creative and positive.
  • Have initiative and be able to motivate and encourage children.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience as an LSA/Teaching Assistant desirable, but not essential.

LUNCHTIME SUPERVISOR VACANCY
St Thomas of Canterbury School are looking for a Midday Supervisor
Hours: Working 1 ½ hours a day, Monday to Friday, term time only.
Salary: XCET1/2 (£17,833) pro-rata £3114.22 pa.

You will be assisting with supervising the children in the dining hall and play areas during their lunchtime break.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be friendly, positive and enthusiastic, patient and caring.
