Admissions

We would love you to choose St Thomas of Canterbury as the school for your child.

I hope you can come along to one of our Open events (see here for more details).

Please contact our Admissions Officer, Mrs Sahar Tahouri, for more details about applying to our school (admissions@st-thomas.surrey.sch.uk) including arranging an individual visit and tour of the school if that works best for you!

St. Thomas of Canterbury School is a Catholic primary Academy co-educational school. The school was founded by and is part of the Catholic Church and is conducted as a Catholic school in accordance with the canon law and teachings of the Catholic Church and in accordance with the Trust Deed of the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton. We are a part of the Xavier Catholic Education Trust.

The Governors aim to offer a Catholic education. They expect all parents applying for a place at St. Thomas of Canterbury School to respect the mission statement and Catholic ethos of the School and its importance to the school community. The School fully respects the beliefs of parents and children from all denominations and faith backgrounds and whilst Catholic children are given priority under our Admissions Policy, we welcome all children to our school family. Children are taught respect and tolerance for others and there is provision in the religious education programme for the study of different faiths.

The school was set up primarily to serve the Catholic community in the Guildford Parish. The relevant parish map can be viewed at St. Thomas of Canterbury School and is attached to the Admissions Policy document.
