We are so excited! The time has come! You can follow all our goings on here.

We will update the page as and when we can but please bear with us – we are reliant on having good internet access and time! We will endeavour to include photos of everyone across the three days but please don’t worry if your child isn’t in a photo – they are with us(!) and I promise you they are having fun!

Monday 17th March: After our arrival we have had great fun participating in team games with some great challenges. We have definitely learnt the importance of working together! All the beds are made, more great team work and now the children are having fun in their dorms playing games before dinner.

Monday Evening: After a delicious dinner of pasta, garlic bread and chocolate cake, we travelled back in time to do some illuminated writing, just like the Anglo-Saxons. We can’t wait to show you our wonderful writing!

Tuesday 18th March : The weather is beautiful and the sun is shining. We have eaten food that we prepared ourselves and everyone is having a wonderful time! It has been an amazing day consisting of battles, jewellery making, rune crafting, weaving, fencing, dressing up and wattle and daubing! We have eaten well and are just having fun playing outside before dinner and a saxon wedding!
